Lake City, Seattle, King County, Washington, 98165
Lake City is Seattle’s northeast region, centered along Lake City Way NE, 11-13 kilometers northeast of Downtown Seattle. Lake City includes much of the Thornton Creek watershed, which has been the subject of a long restoration initiative by citizens and Seattle Public Utilities employees to improve Lake City’s residential environment. Lake City is primarily reliant on retail commerce, and the region’s economy has grown and dropped in response to highway growth in the Seattle area.
